Prior to our departure to one of my best friend Jenn’s birthday celebrations, we gathered up the troops at her house and she looked so cute that I decided to do a mini portrait photography session in her living room. She is one of my go-to gals in the past few years and we met in English class in high school. I am so fortunate to have such great friends who have stuck by me through the years and are still there whenever I need them and vice versa.

I just want to wish everyone and their loved ones a Happy Thanksgiving!  I am grateful to have such great family and friends whom I can count on during the good times and especially the bad.  If it weren’t for you I wouldn’t be living, laughing, loving, and feeling loved.

I also want to give thanks to those who support Luxavision and what we stand for, if it weren’t for you Luxavision would not be a success.

I can’t believe it has been a year since the photo shoot with Baby Ayrianna. She has turned 1 and her parents Joseph & Kerry invited me to capture her first birthday party. It seizes to amaze me how fast babies grow. I want to congratulate Joseph & Kerry on this memorable milestone of their family’s life.

The venue had great natural light with sky lights and large windows and I didn’t have to use my flash. The energy in the room was playful and fun with children running around and family/friends sharing this special moment. Enjoy!

I was invited to photograph a Calvin Klein party that had a burlesque theme which I thought was pretty awesome and the lighting of the event worked in my favor in a number of photos. I had fun shooting this event for there were different types of entertainers.

This was my first paid event and now that I look at the photos, my skills have come a long way since then.
